This is a magical place where I spent my childhood during fall festivals. We would row across the pond on paddle boats, sit by the campfire, and eat the most delicious treats served by our church community. Alda has made it her life’s mission to create a sense of wonder and magic in her home and on her property. Magnolia Hill is a very special place. You arrive at the historic home that is perfectly decorated, plucked right out of a fairytale. There is a barn with horse and carriage, a 1938 vintage Packard for a luxurious exit.
They have a stone altar by the waterside where they release white doves as a part of the wedding ceremony. This southern historic house has a horse and carriage for the bride to arrive in. The groom has the option of canoeing up to the altar as guests watch. They are an all inclusive wedding destination and can assist with planning from afar.
The Bridal quarters include an antique three mirror display and the groom’s quarters an antique pool table and big screen TV. The estate is complete with a full outdoor kitchen for the caterer that includes wait staff, cake cutting, and bartender. They even provide an ordained minister.
Let’s set the scene: The guests arrive and are seated by the waterside stone altar. They watch as the bride arrives in a horse drawn carriage from the backside of the lake while music is playing. The groom arrives via canoe. The vows are exchanged and the ceremony ends with the releasing of white doves celebrating the marriage and new beginnings. To the right of the property sits a moon dock covered in romantic twinkling lights makes for a lovely spot for photos. Spotted in a tree by the lake is a lovely swing perfect for bridal portraits. The veranda is set up with linens and florals ready for the guests to enjoy the meal. Then couple chooses the elegant exit in a 1938 vintage Packard car while fireworks are going off in the background. How's that for a magical wedding?

The Wood Room
This is a spacious 2,500 sf hardwood floors, exposed bricks and ceiling beams with crystal chandeliers and flowing white curtains along the ceiling. It gives refined rustic vibes and is perfect for a wedding reception or ceremony. It has gorgeous natural light from the windows and is the perfect place for photos. The room also has a vintage 1918 fire door and twinkle lights.
This location has two other rooms: The Copper Room which features chandeliers, copper ceilings, and long benches. The Urban Room has a more modern feel and is more customizable with its stained concrete floors, bar and bridal suite. It makes for a great dance floor for all your wedding guests and first dance.

This is a very neat space that can range from elegant to whimsical. It has a white brick and iron fence lines with flowering bushes and foliage. The cottage is a two story white brick space with a lovely fireplace for some amazing portrait shots. The living room area is built in shelving lined with books and tea pots and even a stained glass window giving the space an old world gothic feel. In the back there is a circular brick archway that lends to the pavilion where many have had their ceremony. The receptions are held in an elevated rustic barn. This would be perfect for a more intimate wedding, elopement, engagement photos or even a bridal portrait session.
